Description Videos Show Reviews The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 Programming Jig has been designed to allow OEM customers using any of our Compute Module 5 range of boards to efficiently load operating system images into the onboard eMMC Flash during their production process. The jig connects to the provisioning network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi and features a second Ethernet portfor accelerated software transfer. Pogo pins interface directly with the module, eliminating the need fora separate carrier board. The jig also features a mechanical clamping mechanism to secure the modulein place and LED status indicators to display its progress. Programming time per board will vary with the size of the operating system image being loaded. It is expected that higher-volumecustomers will operate multiple units in parallel to achieve the desired throughput. Features Single-head design provisions one Compute Module 5 at a time. Mechanical clamping secures the Compute Module 5 in place during programming. Pogo pin interface connects directly to Compute Module 5 without a carrier board. LED status indicators communicate the current state of the jig and provisioning progress. Dual network connectivity connects the jig to the provisioning network by Ethernet (JIG ETH) or Wi-Fi, with a second Ethernet port (DUT ETH) for accelerated software transfer to the Compute Module 5 being programmed. Automated provisioning supports secure boot, full-disk encryption, and bare operating system installation.
