Once the shim is installed, your Raspberry Pi can be plugged directly into a computer or USB hub without any additional cables or power supplies. The Zero Stem is compatible with the Raspberry Pi Zero v1.3 and the Raspberry Pi Zero W v1.1. It is not compatible with the Raspberry Pi Zero v1.2 or any full-size Raspberry Pi . Just plug it into a free USB port and you can connect to your Pi over USB ethernet and share your computers internet connection without any additional cables or power supplies. Zero Stem is soldered onto the bottom of your Pi Zero and secured with bolts, making it convenient to use on the go. Use it to createyour own little plug-and-play virtual machine, VNC server, proxy server or combine several into a cluster.
